Now Who Will Evangelicals Vote For?

The Slacktivist is appalled that when the allegations of sexual harassment/assault against Herman Cain became public, his support among Iowa evangelicals actually increased. I just can’t put it any better than he does.

Bialek alleges that Cain put his hand under her skirt …

Among evangelical voters, there was an increase in support for Cain.

… and also pushed her head toward his crotch while they were in a car.

She recalls saying: “This isn’t what I came here for, Mr. Cain.”

There is no such thing as rape, Professor. Just women who take advantage of vulnerable men.

In the USA we’re too easy on so-called “rape victims.” In the Middle East, they’re put on trial. Here, they can usually avoid trial by keeping quiet.

To be fair, women have been molesting Herman Cain’s hands with their genitals for years. No doubt the revelations garnered him some sympathy.

And since atheists are apparently trusted no more than rapists are, maybe this is our chance to field a candidate?

  4. James Hanley says:

What if it’s an atheist rapist?

  5. Matty says:

You already covered how evangelicals will react to an atheist rapist.

  6. D.A. Ridgely says:
