Seth McLaughlin, Your Teachers Are Hanging Their Heads in Shame

The Washington Times’ Seth McLaughlin says “Polls tend to show that a plurality of voters disapprove of Obamacare.” Then he mentions “A Pew Research Center poll released last week that showed more Americans disapprove than approve of the law by a 53 percent to 42 percent margin.”

You may be being a bit hard on poor Seth.

There may have been part of the sample that had “no opinion” and thus the approve and the disapprove would not sum to 100%.

Or maybe you meant that Seth was confusing “plurality” with “majority”?

  3. J@m3z Aitch says:

    Yes, on the second one.

while he only cited one you used the plural, it’s possible that there are other polls that only have a plurality.

  5. dan d says:
